I really agree with you : good content and basic linking “in context” are the basis for a high ranking and it is often very efficient !!

Hi Naomi, like Eclipsis said, both are important.
I would be totally stupid to imagine it is possible to win a SEO challenge without links.
But content is also very important.

In real life, I’m doing SEM, and in commercial areas, it is difficult to get quality links (means “in context”, not footer). I realized that it was possible to rank high with good content, and basic linking.

You are mostly right, naomi… Incoming links still have a lot of impact on SEO contest results. The question is not to find which is better between links and content, you have to have both, and quality ones, and that’s it

I discovered that content is definitely not the king. I myself am participating in an seo contest on the word “clifinar”, From what I understand, the most important parameter is links directing to your site. If you thinks differently, I’d love to hear.
